Welcome

Lift Tamworth is situated in a historic market town, home to former Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel. The town was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mercia with its famous castle at its heart.

Our catchment area draws from the Belgrave, Glascote and Stoneydelph wards located in the southern part of the town, close to the M42. Over the years, Tamworth has grown and developed into a thriving town attracting many big names in the retail and leisure industry and consequently, road, rail and leisure facilities in the town are excellent.

The school has excellent links with feeder schools and is at the heart of the local community.

Welcome to Lift Tamworth

We are an inclusive, supportive school; we value and champion the diversity of our community and are ambitious for all students to have a happy, successful school career at Lift Tamworth.

We are a caring school and go above and beyond to make sure that we remove barriers that any student may face: all students are greeted by staff at the gate and as they enter the threshold we offer equipment and uniform to any student that needs them. The extraordinary staff at Lift Tamworth are dedicated to ensuring that all students are safe, that they settle into the school well and any concerns are addressed to not only support learning but also support student wellbeing and mental health.

The school has never been in such a strong position to provide the best education possible to our young people. We are fully staffed with committed, talented and enthusiastic professionals eager to deliver the very best education.

We look forward to welcoming all students into the school and will continue to develop all of our students to be the best that they can be.

If you have any further questions, please contact the school on reception@lifttamworth.org.

Kind regards
